He confirmed that the IRS has completed its audit of the 2013 gift tax return and has determined that there will be no change. He further noted that, while no notice was sent as to 2014, the IRS had intended to audit the 2014 gift tax returns. However, after reviewing the materials we provided in response to the 2013 gift tax audit, the IRS concluded that the 2014 materials likely are in the same pristine order and therefore has ended its review of the 2014 gift tax return.
