Now that we have officially turned the warehouse paperwork over to the Trust, Chenue may want authorization by you/Darren to allow the viewing. I do not think the viewing will happen because we need Chantal Quoirot (the independent conservator who has been supervising all viewings of the work) to be at the viewing and I literally just received the request from Gagosian. Chantal is based in Paris where it is already almost 1 am, so I emailed her, but am guessing that I will not hear from her in time to schedule this for tomorrow. I told Gagosian to ask their client for alternative days, just in case. This is a new potential buyer and a new member of the Gagosian team who is the buyer's contact. To my knowledge, the prior possible buyer is still in the mix and is supposed to be deciding tomorrow whether they want to move forward, in which case they would send their conservator early next week to examine the sculpture. I'll keep you posted on all fronts! Just wanted to warn you that it is possible that I'll be copying you on an email to Chenue in the morning telling them to allow a viewing of the work.
