I find st thomas ugly, and the wind comes from the east. your house location would make it impossible to be outside except for the ugly st thomas side. . the other house on the hill near the ruins suffers the same fate. WIND. having an eastern wall would block the best view . i suggest the current pool location is cradles in the arms of two hills and the view is not compromised by st john or st thomas. . much more tropical if one doesn see the ugliness. I think a spa on the beach , in stead of the current tennis court would also be preferabble , i would have driect access to ocean. and be able to walkthe beach after excercise or massage.
