I have also asked our insurance broker to give me an estimate of what he would expect fine art insurance to cost for these two works, and I'll let you know what he says as soon as I hear from EFTA01060099 him. I was also just speaking with Leon who strongly recommends that you have Gagosian Gallery assist you with the process of authenticating the Giacometti in Paris. The gallery has a good relationship with the Giacometti Committee (the entity that does the authentication) and can help you make sure that you have the work reviewed at the next Committee meeting, which I believe is mid-December. There is paperwork that will need to be filled out for the Committee and I believe the work itself needs to be in Paris a week or so before the meeting. Gagosian knows all of the ins and outs of this and can be extremely helpful to you.
