First, to address the unnecessary and inaccurate assertions about Little, Brown never receiving my December 3, 2015 written communication that was addressed to them at its former 3 Center Plaza Boston address, please be advised that a current Google search for Little, Brown (CITE LINK) continues to lead directly to the 3 Center Plaza Boston address (20 months after the physical move) and, further, that our messenger, after going to Center Plaza then went to the State Street offices of the Hatchette Group and delivered the December letter in hand to Mr. Paul Hermann. Second, more importantly, our offer to review a draft manuscript was made with the intention of giving Little, Brown a chance to fact check their intended publication and avoid false, defamatory, and harmful representations of fact or opinion that could be identified by us and then addressed before, not after, the dissemination of the intended book "Filthy Rich". It would be in the self-interest of any publisher to provide the subject of an intended book (such as the one that has been or is being authored about Mr. Epstein) with the prior opportunity to check its accuracy so that unambiguous factual errors could be corrected thus reducing the potential for both future harm to the subject and future litigation in the event that the book is defamatory. Let us know if you reconsider your refusal to allow us, pit-publication, to review the manuscript in order to fact check the story, and disclose representations that are not accurate.
