PGP Harvard third party activity for genome
sequencing
Dear Jeffrey Epstein.
The following is an invitation from a third party activity. While this activity is not
conducted by PGP Harvard, we thought you might be interested in learning about it.
You are receiving this email because you are enrolled in the Harvard Personal
Genome Project. Note that if we collected a blood sample from you in 2013 or early
2014 your genome might be finished or in process.
Note: This activity is not reviewed by the Harvard Medical School Institutional Review
Board as part of PGP Harvard's study protocol. Third party activities have approval
from their own IRB or equivalent when applicable. You can decline this activity, or
unsubscribe to all third party activity notifications, by following the instructions below.
Veritas Genetics $999 Genome Offer
About:
Veritas Genetics is now providing discounted genome sequencing to PGP participants
for $999. Many of you have asked how you might contribute your genome or make a
financial donation to the PGP to facilitate the sequencing of your genome. This offer by
Veritas is another addition to the current options available for getting your genome
sequenced and donated to the PGP.
The PGP will continue to sequence genomes for free as funding allows, but the wait for
a free genome may still remain considerable. We have many more participants than
we are able to sequence with our present funding levels, with many participants
already waiting years for a genome sequence. We are actively pursuing funding to
support this aspect of the project, but in the meantime, we are seeking out alternatives
through third party activities that will help participants get their genomes sequenced.

Here are the details of the Veritas offer:
• Your genome will be sequenced on an IIlumina machine (20x average
coverage).
• Data for your genome can be transferred directly from the Veritas Genetics
website to the PGP.
• You will be able to request download of your data from Veritas.
• The initial genome sequence you receive will be data only.
• You can interpret your genome sequence using the PGP interpretation pipeline.
• Veritas will later provide additional interpretation and will also provide a session
with a licensed genetic counselor.
How to sign-up to for the Veritas Genetic third-party activity:
• Log in to your account at littps:;AnyAgp-lims.orgL
• Go to the the VeritasGenetics genome sequencing for PGP
participants page (https://my.pgp-hms.org/third_party/study/31)
• ...and click on the "Participate" button. Your web browser will click through to the Veritas
