History and Mission:
Pure Logic Clean Energy Systems LLC is a solar developer and EPC focused primarily
on sales, design and installation of photovoltaic systems. Our management team
members have an average of 22 years in the construction and solar industries with a
strong history of project management in both commercial and residential segments. For
most of 2009 the members of Pure Logic were operating as the Colorado partner of
Infinergy Wind and Solar of Maryland. In April 2010, Pure Logic was formed as a
separation in name and affiliation with Infinergy. Since then Pure Logic has grown in
sales and territory, serving the Front Range of Colorado, from Fort Collins to South
Denver Metro.
Our mission is to provide our clients with the best possible clean energy value through
solar expertise and knowledge of available financial incentives, creative financing
structures and local environmental solutions. With a strong background in the

construction industry, the Pure Logic team is ideally suited to provide well-planned, well-
managed projects for the emerging solar PV industry. In August 2011 Pure Logic began
researching the potential for PV in the US Virgin Islands and had contracted for nine
projects, totaling $2.4M by December 31, 2011. In the beginning of 2012 Pure Logic
expanded operations to St Thomas to fully serve the Caribbean market.

Market Opportunity:
The high upfront cost of solar energy has traditionally been the main obstacle to mass
implementation worldwide. In recent years the operating lease model has proven to be
a major catalyst in spurring private equity to capture the significant tax incentives
offered for renewable energy projects in the United States and its territories. Since 2007
the solar PV market has exploded as the solar leasing model was introduced. It is
estimated that almost 75% of all PV installations during that period were financed by a
third party financing mechanism.

In the USVI rates are as high as ever ($0.42-$0.49/kWh). With the closing of St Croix's
Hovensa Oil Refinery, which for the last 5 decades has provided low-cost fuel oil to the
Territory for generation of electricity, the retail cost per kWh is expected to increase to
$0.60-$0.65 by the first few months of 2013. As the value of solar energy is
commensurate with retail energy cost, this is a very valuable market for the solar
industry.
