;This Week on Kickstarter
SEPTEMBER 20, 2012
This week's project will take you back to the time of the dinosaurs, into space with an
exhibit of rarely seen material from NASA's inaugural flights, and out onto the open
seas with a fleet of robotic boats.

Clever girl
Paleoartist Tyler Keillor has spent a lifetime
building dinosaurs for museums, universities,
and National Geographic documentaries, but
his current undertaking might be the coolest
yet: a full-body reconstruction of the little
known predatory dinosaur, Dryptosaurus.
Working with digital technology and the field's
leading names, his model will be the most
realistic and fully accurate to date. Your move,
Spielberg!

Robotboat Mark VI
Satellites for the seas
The Robotboat Mark VI is a low-cost way to
generate vast amounts of open data about our
world's most abundant resource: the oceans.
Conceived and built by a team of seasoned
engineers, this fully autonomous, mechanical
boat can sail itself anywhere (without fuel) in
order to collect data on marine life and coral
reef systems, measure currents, monitor oil
leaks, and more.

EXPLORE THIS PROJECT
If you believe...
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of NASA's
final moon landing, the Johnson Space Center
in Houston will be hosting an independent
exhibition of photos, film footage, and archival
materials from the programs storied history.
Some of the things to be seen include rarely
glimpsed portraits of famous astronauts
(Buzz!) and thrilling ephemera, like the first
hammer to break off a piece of lunar rock. Is it
just the lack of gravity, or are we suddenly
breathless?
