Hi Nicolas,
Per our conversation, I have attached a one-page summary and recent deck for inStream, the first comprehensive
practice management software platform for independent financial advisors (RIAs). In 2013, inStream raised
circa $5M from a great investor group, and is now raising a convertible note, bridging into the upcoming Series
B round.
inStream has been performing very well since inception and the company has a bright future, in my opinion: (1)
the product is fantastic and deploying new market-leading functionality every month; (2) the Toronto-based
engineering team is first class, (3) inStream has already closed two large national enterprise clients: Mercer
Global Advisors and Buckingham Asset Management (BAM), which is among the largest RIA firms in the US;
and (4) the company's sales pipeline looks great.
I'm both a personal investor ($550K to date) and active board member at inStream. My friend John Wotowicz
(copied here) is the company's CEO, the former head of global business development at Dimensional Fund
Advisors (DFA) and a longtime Morgan Stanley executive.
If you are interested in learning more, John would be pleased to meet at your convenience and dive into the
model.
See you soon,
Peter
