FD-302 (Rev. 5.8-10) -1 of 2 - OFFICIAL RECORD FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION Datcofoon 07/31/2019 On Saturday July 6th, 2019, the author was assigned as part of the arrest team along with SA and SA tasked with the transport and arrest processing pertaining to case subject/ defendant JEFFREY E. EPSTEIN. On or about 6:25 PM (EST)while seated next to defendant EPSTEIN in the rear seat (author behind drivers seat) of an FBI vehicle traveling in the vicinity of the Teterboro Airport, Teterboro New Jersey,en- route to 26 Federal Plaza,Manhattan, defendant EPSTEIN made a spontaneous utterance as "Is this about sex trafficking", "Is this about underage". The author or the other agents did not confirm or deny any substance regarding the uttered statement made by defendant EPSTEIN. Later during the evening of Saturday July 6th, 2019,sometime after 7:25 PM (EST) the author was present with defendant EPSTEIN inside of the arrest processing room (JABS) on the 27th floor of 26 Federal Plaza, New York, NY, conducting required arrest processing. Defendant EPSTEIN made a second spontaneous utterance as "This is going back to 2002,2005", "Oh this is bad", "This is pretty bad". The author or the other agents did not confirm or deny any substance regarding the uttered statement made by defendant EPSTEIN. AUTHORS FOOTNOTE: While accepting custody of defendant EPSTEIN, the author was informed by SA that defendant EPSTEIN had requested the assistance of counsel. Defendant EPSTEIN did not appear to be intoxicated or under the influence of a narcotic substance and declined immediate medical assistance and did not report any health or medical concerns. It should also be noted that the author memorialized the above stated spontaneous utterances in writing on the inside of working folder pertaining to the arrest paperwork of defendant EPSTEIN on Monday July 8th,2019.
