After the paper on inconsistent deception, not really -- my graduate student
decided to leave the University for personal reasons, I lacked the funding to
hire someone else to continue, and the persuasiveness to convince students to
volunteer (the student was on a scholarship and so could work on projects without
funding).

work on self-deception looks *very* interesting. I hope the
project you have with him is very successful!
