To: [email protected][[email protected]]; Jeffrey [email protected]] From: Al seckel Sent: Wed 12/8/2010 9:25:35 AM Subject: Island conference Thought the following would work: 1st day morning: 3 talks/discussions afternoon: 3 talks/discussions 2nd day morning: 3 talks/discussions afternoon: 3 talks/discussions This covers everyone. Everyone attending can talk about whatever they want to talk about in their own session, and then open it up for general comment. There will be some interesting and diverse ground covered from theoretical physics, complexity, ai, new financing models, evolutionary genetics, consciousness/free will, thinking skills, hacking approach to problem solving in biology, technology, encryption, new minimally invasive surgical techniques, etc. Thought this would make it interesting as you will get very bright and articulate people who can contribute outside of their own area of expertise, and thus come up with some possible new approaches and some very interesting discussions. Getting a group of "experts" together in the same field isn't as much fun. Also, all these people are very fun and characters. I would not have invited them if I didn't think so. You will like the group. Does this work for you? EFTA_R1_00521076 EFTA02017521
