To: jeevacation©gmail.compeevacation©gmail.com]; Jeffrey Epsteinbeevacation©gmail.com] From: Sent Sat 10/29/2011 12:04:08 AM Science Editor, Private Foundation We are a private foundation based in Manhattan that funds cutting edge science around the world. We principally fund high-risk basic research in physics, mathematics, and biology and support provocative thinkers throughout their careers. In addition to making grants, we convene meetings and workshops where scientists from various disciplines come together to develop new ideas. Next year, we will be expanding our foundation's online presence and are looking for an exceptionally bright and industrious science editor to lead this important undertaking from concept to execution. You will interact with leading scientists and travel extensively to visit the labs we fund all over the world. You will regularly write and edit content for the site and be responsible for developing narratives that link our various funded projects. The successful candidate will have an advanced degree in science, a vast demonstrated curiosity outside their own domain, several years of experience in science journalism oriented at the general public, an ability and desire to travel extensively, and knowledge of online journalism best practices. Prior work experience at a foundation is a significant plus. To apply, please send a resume and two writing samples that best demonstrate your skills. Adam Bly Founder & CEO.
