I just had a conversation with a patron of The Institute for Music & Brain Science who is interested in making a donation to UCLA (with overhead) that would provide salary for me to work on my book, tentatively titled "The Music Instinct. Mind, Brain & Culture". I have already signed on with a top literary agent in NYC at [CM Talent (Kris Dahl). Also, I received the happy news that Professor White and the Neuroscience Program will fund at least part of my Music Mind & Brain course this Spring Term.
