A Washington Post reporter emailed the BOP's public affairs office to inquire about the corruption of surveillance footage outside Jeffrey Epstein's cell on the night of his death. The reporter asked the BOP to comment on the assertion that the footage was corrupted and whether camera functionality was a larger issue at MCC. The BOP was also asked if other cameras captured evidence supporting Epstein's alleged suicide.
