The terrain model recently prepared by the Photographic Interpretation Center for us so pleased the initiator of the require- ment that a request has been made for two more models relative to the same project. In discussing the matter with 25x1 it was decided that this memorandum outlining the scope of the work should be directed to you for approval. 2. ne model covers an area of approximately 1.2 by 2.4 Nid ata scale of 1/3600 requiring a 24" x 48" model. The other covers an area of approximately 11 x 11 NM at a scale of 1/20, 000 neces- sitating a model 36" x 36" in size. All planimetric features aud ] form lines will be furnished. Vertical scale ratio 3:1. 3. Due to the irregularities of terrain and difficulty of drawing contour or form lines from the photography, it would be most desirable to provide you stereo-coverage of the areas. while there arc few | cultural features within the area, more detail is desired than was requested on the previous model, notably the designation of vegetation which ranges from about 5 to 40 feet. In order to furnish photography it would necessitate your accomplishing the work within your special cleared area. The large scale model is covered by 1 stereo-pair and the small scale area by 14 stereo-pair, 7 vertical and 7 oblique.
