David S. Feldman, 36, of Fairview Park, who was indicted by a Cuyahoga County | grand jury on 21 counts of perjury, was arrested Friday at his home. In April 1982, Jenkins was convicted in the murder of Cleveland rookie Patrolnan Anthony Johnson and was the first person to be sentenced to death under ORio’s new capital punishment law. At the Jenkins trial, a prosecution ballistics expert testified that the slug that killed Johnson came from Jenkins’ gun. Feldnan said 3 slug found next to the-Jomnson's body was not fired from Jenkins’ gun and could have come from the gun of another police officer or could have been a ricochet. Johnson was Killed in a shootout following a bank robbery. - He was indicted on perjury Counts in connection with the Jenkins trial and two other Cuyahoga County Common Pleas cases in 1978 and 1981. According to the indictment, he made false statements about his background, including telling a jury he was employed and conducted ballistics tests for the CIA.
