This year's Opening Night will feature the production Le Nozze di Figaro with Music Director James Levine conducting a new production of Mozart's eternal masterpiece, directed by Sir Richard Eyre, who sets the action in an 18th -century manor house in Seville, during the gilded age of the late 1920s. Ildar Abdrazakov as Figaro leads a dazzling cast, including Marlis Petersen, Peter Mattei, Marina Poplayskaya, and Isabel Leonard.
