The TV told this morning that the stage hands had settled which was the 3 large union to do so and that Opening Night would go ahead, but until I have official word from the Met I am reluctant to confirm anything. This year's Opening Night will feature the production Le Nozze di Figaro with Music Director James Levine conducting a new production of Mozart's eternal masterpiece, directed by Sir Richard Eyre, who sets the action in an 18th -century manor house in Seville, during the gilded age of the late 1920s.
