I'm requesting emergency funds to reimburse SASO for expenses they paid out of pocket to assist When VS informed me of this victim in my AOR, I immediately referred her to SASO for assistance as I am 6 hours away from her location. most urgent need was a birth certificate so that she could get a valid ID to be able to obtain work. This also was important for her travel to Miami for the briefing. Also, because of the short notice of travel to Miami and the distance from me, Ms. Demko assisted so that she could actually get on the plane to Miami. We also received a call with, very short notice, that did not have transportation home from the airport. The airport is a ways out of town and public transportation is minimal. Also,. has absolutely zero income and had no money to travel. Thus SASO fronted the money for these needs. I'm requesting reimbursement to SASO in the amount of $189.
