July 02. 2019 7:12 PM To: Subject: PLEASE RESPOND ASAP All, This afternoon Epstein was indicted in SDNY and a warrant for his arrest has been sworn out. Effectively immediately, when Epstein returns to the U.S. he will be placed in custody, right now he is believed to be in France. We will need to be in stand-by mode for the next several days with a plan in place to effect the arrest, execute a search warrant at his residence in NYC, and interview co-conspirators. In addition, we will need 2 agents to immediately deploy to Florida to serve subpoenas and attempt to interview 1 - 3 individuals in Florida. All of this will happen without much notice as we have no idea when he plans on returning to the U.S., it could be 2 weeks from now or it could be tonight. These investigative efforts will likely require the entire squad, some A4 assistance, and some help from the branch.
