We were about to submit everything to USCIS and I realized that I inadvertently made a mistake in the draft. When left the US in January 2020 (when she was subject to the death threats) it was not related to renewing her E-2 Visa (I am clearly not an immigration attorney...). All other facts and dates in the letter are correct. I am attaching a redlined version so you can see the correction. We desperately need to correct this asap because we want to make sure everything that we submit is accurate. I am so sorry because I know you were crazy busy and still got this done for us. This is all very important for so I really appreciate anything you can do to get the corrected letter in time. We have at the very latest until this Wednesday to send this out overnight to USCIS. USCIS raised a question about the trips in 2020 and 2021 that she made out of the country to renew her visa and extend her status so she could continue her cooperation. Attached is the letter which your office graciously provided back in 2022, which we submitted in support of the application, as well as an email chain with AUSA regarding the visa issue in 2020. MI is cc-ed here (hi IM - I hope you are doing well). We would really appreciate a short letter from your office or the Justice Department on this issue. I am sorry to send another email on this but we are trying to send out the full response to USCIS by June 20th. I hope this isn't presumptuous but, because of the time constraints, attached is a draft letter with some proposed language and information. This is just a suggestion and possible guide if your office is inclined to submit a letter. Please feel free to cut down or modify anything. Please email any letter directly to me and we will incorporate it into the response to USCIS. As you may know, cooperated extensively with the U.S.V.I. Department of Justice in connection with their related litigation. They are supporting the t-visa application.
