It is a tandem skydive - each professional instructor has at least 10,000 jumps You meet at the Jet Center for a brief class. Their plane is a Cessna 402 - it takes 20 minutes to reach 10,000 feet and fly to the Bovoni Race track (here on the East End) At 10,000 feet you jump out of the plane with your instructor - free fall for about 1 minute - at 5,000 feet you open the canopy and float down to the ground - about 6 to 8 minutes The maximum number for a "group" jump is 2 guests The guest jumper must be at least 18 years old and weigh no more than 235 pounds.
