Theater =or a New Audience Sets Full Season at New Home

Theater for a New Audience has =nnounced the full schedule for the inaugural season at its new home, =he Center for
Shakespeare and Classical Drama, in Brooklyn. As =reviously reported, Julie Taymor will make her return to the New York
=tage for the first time since "Spider•Man: Turn Off the Dark" to direct =hakespeare's "Midsummer Night's Dream," with
music by Elliot =oldenthal. Previews are set to begin on Oct. 19 with opening night =cheduled for Nov. 2.
A production of "King Lear" is to =ollow, directed by Arin Arbus, with the British actor Michael =ennington ("Love Is My
Sin") in the title role. Previews for "Lear" are =cheduled to begin on March 14. And Michael Shannon ("Mistakes Were
=ade," "Grace") will star in "The Killer," by Eugene lonesco and =irected by Darko Tresnjak, for the season's final play,
with previews =et to start May 17.
