maintenance schedule coming due for flight dept:
Gulfstream is due 72 Month inspection: Feb 28th, 2012 t's the largest inspection, down time is only estimate,
depends on corrosion etc, S week down time for starters.
Boeing 727 is due light C check Feb 28th, 2012 and side brace actuator, due Jan 19th, 2012 down time 2 1/2
week's estimate,
From Larry Morrison:
Larry V,
As we discussed, the following is the upcoming maintenance for the 727 and GIIB.
Boeing 727: MLG Side Brace Actuator AD (SB) due 1/19/12 Part 1 thru 3 of SB were complied at Ovhl, Part 4 is
new and just requires the sidebrace actuator to go to a shop for a minor mod. I can try to get an extension from the FAA
to align with C Check (although no guarantee being AD driven) / C 2C due 2/28/12 This is our lightest of the C Checks,
consisting of heavy on the fore and aft wing spar, under galley and lays.
Gulfstream IIB: 72mo. inspection due 2/28/12 (heavy structural inspection)
Recommendation is to do the 727 check early in conjunction with the MLG AD to get it up and ready before GIIB
goes for Maint. My concern is more with the extensive 72mo. on the GIIB than the lighter 727 C Check.
I will be sending packages for both aircraft to be quoted soon. Hope this helps.
Larry Morrison
Bell 407 Annual inspection is Due April, 1st 2012, FYI (down time 2 weeks) budget $25,000.00
