Gary, I placed the countertop with the specified Dover White ( & dark joint lines ) on top of the sheet of solid core plastic that I ordered in. Describing the difference, I would say that there is just a barely noticeable difference with the solid core plastic being a little more warm (or off-white). Our shop lights are not the brightest. Maybe with bright natural light the difference would be less noticeable. I even considered painting the darker lines, but it could wear off, and then it would probably not look very nice.
