Never before seen =C2 world developments have created unique challenges for leaders. The ra=e of change and its

The diversity and experience of adversity ca= be better indicators of leadership success . These types of life challeng=s

The hard lessons I have learned has given me the experien=e of how not to lead and how not to treat others. I learnt to
stay r=tional even under svere emotional pressures.

Racist and neo-Nazi violence are issues that still =C2 remain. Saint- Petersburg and Moscow are major cities where
racism ha= a strong presence. For example, In 2008 when I was in my second year at c=llege, there were 53 cases of
racist and xenophobic violence in which 15 p=ople were killed and 38 were injured. However, we don't often hear=in the
media about these problems in Russia. After a year of living in St.=Petersburg I had witnesses injustice and unfairness

approach was to spread to=erance and democracy among Russians by using a variety of techniques, =A0including
political campaigns. Education of youth regarding the importan=e of racial tolerance was one of effective methods we
used, visiting=more than fifty public and private schools.. Our efforts to reach politica= authorities were worthless, they
remained uninterested in such crimes. As=for today there are some significant improvements in legal prosecutions
of=crimes of a racial basis which makes me believe that my active participati=n in these political campaigns were not
useless.

experience was to accept =C2 myself as who I am and continue to live with it. Because of =A0the religion and high
conservatism in my family, I never spoke about =t with my family, friends or classmates. Being the oldest child in the
fam=ly of four, I always set an example for my younger siblings. I graduated h=gh school with honors, I was accepted to

Since there were not many places or websites were LGBT community c=uld interact and meet others, my wife and

for LGBT people around the world, especially for those who =iving in isolated areas such as former Soviet Union's. Our
mission wit= this website is to create an interactive social platform where gays, lesb=ans and transgender can
communicate freely with each other and make friend=. The name of the website is Unq.one as it perfectly defines who
we are. H=wever, the challenging part of this project was to advertise our sit= to Russian-speaking users letting them
know that we exist. Any attempts t= use the internet to expand politically unpopular views are usually =C2 suppressed
