The session starts with a discussion of what you need to know about the 2010 ADA and the relationship to the requirements in Cha=ters 11A, 116 and 11C of the CBC. Next, an overview of key scoping require=ents pertaining to new EFTA_R1_00120504 EFTA01790982 buildings will be provided. The focus will be on oc=upancy-specific features needed in assembly, business, mercantile, retail, and transient lodging spaces. F=nally, accessibility for existing buildings will be explored in the contex= of upgrade triggers and key exceptions that can have a major impact on de=ign scope. This course will include interactive learning activities, and mini-case studies as an integral part=of the morning and afternoon sessions. Combining real-life examples and graphical depictions to enhance=understanding, Nate brings over 15 years of current practical experience to the classroom.
