Thanks, Warwick Wicksman Principal Sent from my BlackBerry Device. From: Jeffrey Epstein <[email protected]> To: Warwick Wicksman Sent: Fri Mar 18 08:13:49 2011 Subject: Re: Latest Plan Study thanks„ lets have a call . you gary and I „ the images are a great help, the living room needs a view from the screening room terrace. the roadway have to be complete„ the dirt against the wall without the road entire circulation is very misleading. i am available all day On Fri, Mar 18, 2011 at 7:32 AM, Warwick Wicksman < I agree we are not where I had hoped to be, but we have provided more design information, and made some good progress on several items. Because we are still discussing some base conceptual issues, I can't release a team to move full-steam ahead. Here's where I think we stand on each area, and what we need to do to get to the next level. For the main residence areas, we really need some direction as to which of the two latest schemes to move forward with. I thought we had a good basic direction after your visit, including the layout of the stairs, basic terrace layout and general living room location. We re-did the entire model of this area to reflect this. We are still refining some views and final elevations. (See imagel.pdf, attached.) Later we were asked to study the new terrace layout, with the big terrace area at road level. We are concerned that there just isn't enough room to fit everything in, and Gary has told us moving the service road north is not feasible. (See image2.pdf, attached.) Do you have a preferred version we can really start to get into and develop? EFTA_R1_00132606 EFTA01796655 For the pool area, we are splitting our time between trying to give Gary what he needs for the main building (despite the fact that it is not "designed" yet), and modeling the pool-side cabanas. Again, I am concerned that this will be built before it is designed, but we are running with the direction given to us. We sent Gary a few revised versions of the floor and roof plans, and a basic section. I think that is set. Gary has asked us to block out the interior elevations and electrical, so he can review it with you. We are working on that. We are revising the pool-side cabanas per your comments — but all we have been told is "too massive, try more open". I will send you the views of the living room from the screening room terrace today, and the door comparisons for the pool building. If we can determine a primary direction for each of these areas, we can really move forward with the detail. Tom's focus for that quick sketch was the terrace area, and eliminating the upper steps. The road to the library, and the connection on the east, can be worked out. But I need to know if this new area is worth considering. See attached. We conveyed our concerns when we spoke on the phone earlier this week, but you asked us to study it. We are using the topo we got from Gary/Moseby. It does not reflect any changes made recently, but it still shows that there just isn't enough room to fit all of this in, and maintain the service road. 3 EFTA_R1_00132608 EFTA01796657 Gary, you had some more specific reservations about this layout when spoke earlier. Can you convey them to Jeffrey? If there is a way to move the road, we need to know where accurately from the surveyor. We never modeled the new library, as it was away from the area we are focusing on, but we have it now (as best we can from the photos and limited drawings). I will send you some new images tomorrow. The cascading stairs are gone and it opens up the whole center area. In order to keep the symmetry of the plan, the newly proposed stairs to the east are encroaching onto the road. I think you anticipated that as well based on your sketch. We will have to verify if this Is doable. The plaza at level +37 is a bit too large but it may work incorporating it to the road. We have also moved the Living Room as you had suggested slightly to the northeast. The spacing between the office and the Living Room is now 25', exactly the same distance 5 EFTA_R1_00132610 EFTA01796659 between the bedroom and kitchen. I am on a business trip the rest of the week and returning Monday. Warwick will be back Thursday for any comments and/or revisions. Hope you are well and talk to you next week.
