FYI: I'm making (provisional) arrangements for
Research Center on March 3 and/or 4 next week,
addition to flying the B747-400 simulator, etc.
that would interest you?
For instance, we have world-class astronomers &

Also: Would you like to make a presentation when you visit the Bay Area?
Possible venues: Stanford or NASA Ames, or possibly Googleplex.
I think we could attract an interesting (& interested :-) audience, in spite of
the short lead-time.
Alternatively there are events next week at nearby places, eg Search for
Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI), or the Internet Archive, or Electronic
Freedom Foundation (EFF).
The real question is: what would delight you? You suggest, and I'll try to
return your gracious hospitality with whatever Bay Area contacts I may summon.
One caveat: It is possible that a Federal Furlough may begin on Friday, March 4,
the very day you'd like to visit us. In that (still unlikely) event, it would be
much better to visit on Thursday.
All the best to you & yours.
