In other words, it will depend very much upon the basis that the letter is to be forwarded to Jeffrey. The best way round this is to explain to her that this is the least painless way for her to deal with a situation she has created, in that she won't have to eat humble pie herself by issuing a press statement, but instead can allow the letter to be used at our discretion. I suspect that this will be the best prospect of securing her co-operation, although obviously it would be preferable if she were to release the press statement directly herself. Regards.
