To: Epstein Jeff rey[jeevacationftmail.com] From: Sent Thur 8/9/2012 7:05:21 PM Subject: Fwd: Rep. Heinrich at the Plaza Begin forwarded message: From: "Lisa Rossi" Subject: Rep. Heinrich at the Plaza Date: August 9, 2012 2:51:45 PM EDT To: Jeffrey Reply-To: Lisa Rossi wlz Dear Jeffrey, New Mexico Congressman Martin Heinrich is the Democratic nominee in one of the top Senate races in the country. He'll be in NYC on Monday, Sept. 10th and would love to see you at an event he is having at the Plaza Hotel. Martin is a progressive candidate who has proven to be an outstanding Congressman. He's dedicated to creating jobs, protecting the environment, defending seniors, and ensuring equal rights for the LGBT community, just to name a few. He's running against the ultra conservative former Congresswoman Heather Wilson. She supports policies that have proved ineffective in creating jobs (she voted for every round of Bush Tax Cuts), promotes environmentally harmful policies (the League of Conservation Voters has named Wilson one of their „Dirty Dozen960), has an anti-senior voting record (she refuses to stand up to the GOP budget proposal that would end Medicare as we know it), and promotes an anti- LGBT agenda (she recently mocked LGBT bullying and voted against workplace protections for LGBT employees). I think you'll agree that it's important to make Martin the next Senator from New Mexico. You can meet and support Martin on Sept. 10th from 6:30-8:O0pm for a champagne reception at the Plaza. Will you join the host committee for this event by contributing $1,000 or more? We would love to list your name on the invitation materials as one of Martin's top supporters. Let me know if you're interested in joining the host committee. Thanks very much, and I hope to see you on Sept. 10th.
