To: Jeffrey teinueevacationagmail.comj From: Sent Mon 6/23/2014 4:04:01 PM Subject: Fwd: Hippocampal activity during music listening exposes the memory-boosting power of music F I'm finding some interesting people... Start by reading the linked article at the very bottom, then the researcher's comments on top. Symposium? Xx Begin forwarded message: To: Thanks for this. They're from Helsinki where next year's TSC conference is so maybe we'll invite them. Having said that, this is typical neuroscience misinterpretation. They identify activity in hippocampus and relate it to emotional content (i.e. consciousness) in some other part of the brain. Its always some other part of the brain. I'd say the emotional content/consciousness could be in the same neurons, just at a deeper level, as microtubule vibrations. In the case of musical consciousness, I wouldnt be suprised if microtubule vibrations in some way resonated with the actual music. One of the apps for the new TUS device will be to modulate the ultrasound stimulating the brain with music, and include headphones to hear the music. cheers Stuart From: EFTA_R1_00362121 EFTA01919689 memory-boosting power of music imp://medicalxpress.com e ws/201 4-06-hippoca mpa I- m si c-ex poses-memory-boosting- power.html EFTA_R1_00362122 EFTA01919690
