Subject: Fuel prices JFK, EWR SWF
FUELprice.pdf
Jeffrey,
regarding your question on airlines fuel prices: not exactly sure, but appears they are paying less then $3.06 per
gallon with their daily uplift potential.
I always try make an consorted effort to pay the least for fuel at every airport,.
I spoke to World Fuel, my contract fuel source,. for big uplifts when flying the Boeing and GIV,. sometimes I can
negotiate better fuel prices direct with local FBO's depends on the airport.
in Newark according to World Fuel, if I upload 5000 galons, I can get fuel for 53.07 plus taxes= $3.49941 per
gallon, World Fuel is considering me a commercial carrier with my FAR125 certificate. This is a gray area , and
could potentially not be valid. I had this conversation while fueing in JFK when we flew the Boeing to Paris in
2012, I was offered commercial pricing, when the invoice came in, JFK Port authority said, commercial carriers
are considered to be daily Scheduled Airline, not charter Non-schedule carriers. Potential is there, but not
guaranteed.

thank you,
Larry
