Jeffrey:
I spoke to Phil at length Friday, Accountant Joshua wanted to call Gary's lawyer in New Jersey
for an accounting of the estate.
Phil said he told Gary's lawyers that they can not close the estate until they give us a complete
accounting before I sign and if they did not comply, they would have to do submit an accounting
for the government. That would cost the estate a tremendous amount of money.
Phil does not want anyone to contact Gary's lawyer....who he says is a good lawyer and knows
what she is doing. He is having a waiting plan...and waiting for her to get back to him.
Phil says we need to be PATIENT. If it looks like we are desperate, we will get little
if we wait
it out, Gary will have to negotiate because he will eventually need the money. He can not get his
share unless I sign papers to close the estate.
This is Phil's strategy.
Jeffrey....can you please weigh in here? Thanks.
I have been saying all along, Gary does not know or respect the law. He can not make a living. He
will get into the money and spend it. Even though Phil says he can not legally do that and his
lawyer has told him that....I do think Gary will operate on his own and figure out as executor how
to sign estate checks to himself and I will be screwed.
Again, Jeffrey, I welcome your thoughts. My opinion is only emotional- not based on the law.
Thank you. xoxo Peggy
