Our speaker will be newly elected Public Advocate Leticia James. The Police Athletic League (PAL) is one of the largest after school care programs in the City. Without this program, and others like it, it is very difficult for low and moderate income mothers to keep a job and support their family. PAL is supported by individual and corporate contributions. I have been on the Board of Directors of PAL since the mid 1980's along with the Chairman of PAL, former District Attorney Robert Morgenthau. Since 2006, I have sponsored the PAL Luncheon series. The series features local, national and world leaders speaking on current topics. These Luncheons sell out fast, so please let me know soon if you can joins us. Our host, Mutual of America, donates the Luncheon, so 100% of the proceeds go directly to PAL. We look forward to seeing you.
