That being said, I have done a search for Vlwifi and it's available. i will show you later how I want the logo to look. And our motto will be Vlwifi giving you back your freedom. Our customers will be able to roam through all four islands on our network with the same device. We will also offer the cellular companies data off load plans, once our network is fully functional and tested. Here is a break down on the equipment needed to get started but not limited to. First the Core Equipment $187,000.00 which includes the router Cisco 7606, 24 port Cisco switch with 4 sfp ports, ape backup and inverter, 3 servers (DNS, Mail and AAA). The main wifi controller with enterprise software $25,000.00. Hops- (needed at each) Cabinet - $5,275.00, 30ft tower with braces and all grounding, side arms and mounting wings for radio links -$10,000.00, switch-$3,500.00, section controller -$15,000.00, high power APs w/ sector antennas -$30,000.00, APC inverter/backup-$3,490.00, Deep cell backup batteries- $2,295.00, 12K generator w/ transfer switch -$8,000.00, PTMP sector controller -$5,743.00 (May need 2 at some locations) this is used for business customer who needs sla and 5 or more megs of service, cpe for those customers-$3,183.00 each. Installation should take about 2 weeks per hop-$6,000.00 which includes labor, cables, brackets, anchors, screws, junction boxes, and misc. May need to rent a bucket truck -$400.00 per day. A sub total of $300,011.00 plus shipping, handling, license fees and insurance. This is a quick summary of what were looking at to get the ISP up and running.
