The services would be broken out at the Math House and redistributed to the rest of Zorro Ranch. This is a preliminary design that I need some input on since I now have been told that the T-1 circuits can be bundled at Sandia Crest. I am not sure if this is the best practice since the services are required to be broken out at the Main House. The Layer 3 switch is needed to deliver service back to Ranch Central form the Main House. The customer will also require VPN access to the Math House. This is a real rough design to try and get everyone on the same page. I have some serious concerns about maintaining the T-I timing through the links that I need to address. I will review the input with Cambium and Adtran but wanted to be very clear on the delivery of services offering and format from twTelecom and Panasonic. To keep from duplicating the 48 Port POE switch it would be good if the IP phones have Ethernet pass through. The customer has requested a budgetary quote by weeks end and this item will require engineering review and comment before this can happen with any degree of accuracy. If tw telecom were to do that, it would require that we place tw telecom owned and managed equipment (router) at the top of the Crest and we are not going to do that. Operationally, it's too difficult for us to maintain & service equipment at that location. So far, the discussions that Char and I have been involved in arc about giving them more Internet bandwidth by bundling JUST those Internet Tls. EFT&R1_00444726 EFTA01966495 Specifically, we are planning to give them 8 Tls of Internet for a total of 12M. Those 8 Tls would have to terminate in a device (router/FW) owned by Zorro Ranch. In fact to my knowledge, we haven't proposed doing anything new or different with the voice at all. That doesn't mean that there are no future changes to the voice....it just means that no one has talked to me about it. If we need to discuss in further detail please feel free to give me or Char a call.
