I am at Susan Gutfreund's beyond beautiful palace. Givenchy lives next door in this palace. Iler husband John was taken to the hospital this morning, so she has been a wreck calling doctor's all day. lie's SI, not well and she is schlepping to Chanel fashion shows and parties with me. Tomorrow we (if she does not fly back to NY) go to Valentino's show....I go to the American Embassy for cocktails for Anna Wintour and out to Chateau dc Wideville for Valentino's white/silver ball. Of course I brought a black gown....luckily I also have a little white number with me. Could have been a fashion disaster. Paris is unbelievable. Chanel show so chic. So dramatic. So French. 50 models came out for the finale in the dark with little lights on the tips of the toes of their shoes...very cool. I met Princess Beatrice today at Fizzy Barclay's London lunch and told her I slipped the dvd of "The King's Speech" to her dad at your place...she loved it. Where are you?
