Also avoid step through keynote or powerpoint presentations with bullet points, etc. Use slide type visuals only when necessary. We are more interested in promoting interesting discussions than a roundtable of talks. If you can say something in less than the full allotted time (used only if absolutely necessary!) you get tremendous brownie points.
