I have always been in awe of your kindness and generosity. Meanwhile, I hope you don't mind me asking if you would be willing to give me a glowing reference all these years later. I just made it through 7 rounds of interviews for a role supporting Hedge Fund Manager, Phillipe Laffont and have been advised that they will offer me the job contigent upon receiving good references...however, when they called Ghislaine, she advised that she hardly remembered me and I am afraid that this has made me look a bit bad. I know that it's been just as long since I've worked for you but I remember what nice things you offered to both John Sykes and Barry Diller on my behalf years ago, and I wonder if you recall me well, if you might be willing to say some nice words about me again.
