They would take their entire palace court on a hunt for more than a year. They would send many thousand soldiers to form a ring that was said to be a thousand miles in length. Over the ensuing weeks they would walk the ring closed so as to drive the animals to the campsite where the hunt finally took place. The tents were elaborate beyond belief with cups of silver and ewers of gold. Our silk banner would have adorned the Tsenpo's tent. It is in perfect shape.
