iCloud follows Apple's "time machine" (& there's more similar stuff in Lion, the new Mac OS).
Time Machine was one of the three Apple systems alleged to infringe our patents. Jury agreed (&
found deliberate infringement); judge ruled that, although the infringing systems were there, we
hadn't proved that anyone actually *used* them.
Betting is that jury verdict will be re-instated (why Boles & the rest agreed to do the appeal):
infringement is obvious -- tho no one knows about damages.
