For example, I think I'll be able to quickly follow up on his exome with a whole genome this summer. Basically, once I get through the first pass and our lab is fully set up, adding additional datasets will go much easier. In my opinion, there's no harm (in these early days) with individuals having more than 1 genomic datasct and analyses. On the positive side, the number of medically important genes we will deeply analyze has doubled since he submitted his sample based on the most recent literature.
