Subject: Re: Second Response
Imow . I'm back and on fitll throttle, I am looking at my calendar and wanted to let you know
that I will be in New York next week (Tuesday-Friday). Funding the research remains a critical
need as more requests for our training continue to arrive from widely diverse organizations. In a
month, I am presenting an abstract to an international conference on disaster response at the
University of Massachusetts; at the same time, we arc developing more outreach with the head of
FEMA and Homeland Security in Region 1 (New England) who wants to further apply our
methodologies in the field. This makes the data we must collect ever more important and urgent.
I'd appreciate knowing when Jeffrey might be available for that follow-up call or a face-to-face to
catch up on this and other more personal matters.
Thanks again for your help,
William

Hi
I've returned from my seven week round-the-world odyssey and am
basically caught up with Email, shoveling snow and jet lag. I had the
opportunity to visit communities we've served in Asia, Indonesia, the
Middle East and Sri Lanka as well as meet with people in London.
Second Response is entering a critical time now with a pressing need
to hire two new staff members to join our team, including a PhD
clinical director to oversee the studies we will soon undertake to
authenticate our protocols.
While I was away, my staff sent out an update with the attached Annual Report
from 2013.

I'd appreciate setting up that follow-up phone call with Jeffrey whenever he can
take a few moments. My schedule is quite flexible in the next week or
two and I'd like to connect sooner than later. Please let me know
what might work for him. I also plan to be in New York next week if
he'd be open for a face-to-face and happens to be in town.
Many thanks, as always, for your help.
Warm regards,
William
