I stared at that meat and thought...it ain't worth it! Last time I was sick because I ate old deli ham from our fridge I was MISERABLE and vowed to be super careful for forever! (so glad Illrefused the ham sandwich that day!) I threw the hamburger meat down the disposal last night then jumped in the car and ran to the groce Bought new meat and was still able to get dinner all prepared before were home from football practice! I will remember your rhyme! thanks :) on Sep 4, 2013, at 12:57 PM, B Taylor wrote: > We didn't get home until later... I knew you had already made your decision. Many people thaw meat on the counter over night. I do not. Thawing in the fridge is much safer. I would bet that it was ok if it was still cold when you found it. But here is a little rhyme for you... When in doubt, throw it out!
