Hi
the Chiller & Cooling Tower installation is almost complete but we
have one issue that may impact the system from operating at 100% cooling
capacity by Thursday Aug.22nd . We found both Cooling Tower motors from the
manufacturer defective during the commissioning test phase today . Both
motors are two speed ,the fan motors both run in low speed but not in high
speed . The high speed cycle is needed when the outside temperature rises, and
due to the expected hot weather the high speed is needed . I will find out by
tomorrow when the new replacement motors will be installed. I am currently
running 80% of the house ac fan unit equipment with both cooling towers in
low speed and maintaining proper set points. I want Mr. Epstein to know if the
new motors are not installed by Wednesday, I would have to load shed to keep
his master bedroom cool at night. I will have a better idea of the motor
replacement status by tomorrow. Richard
