Subject Oscar Race
Title: Oscar Race
am in total voiceless shock. As grateful as I am for all your brilliance and devotion.
On a brighter note...
I sent this to Paramount this morning after "Hugo" premiere because I lost my voice.
So I think (what ever it's worth) the race is taking a new direction.
Strongest Best Pictures seem to now be....in no order,
"Hugo". "the Descendants", "The Artist", "War Horse" and Daldry's unseen "Extremely Loud".
"Midnight in Paris" and "Moncyball" arc also strong for Picture nominations...and the wild card is Pincher's three hour
film. Lastly, "The Help" is being given a massive push...and possibly the last 'Harty Potter."
None of this is really news to you, but it's always helpful to write it down and analysis it.
So that's ten...and I think each film needs about 250 first place nominations to make onto the Best Picture list.
xoxo Peggy
I will keep you posted on the dvds as they come in.
Just can't believe how lucky I am to have you in my life.
