Subject Re: Question for Kevin
Hi Kevin,
It was a pleasure to meet both of you and thank you again for your time on the island. We are
glad to hear that you and Philippe are both safe back home.
Thank you very much for the information regarding the oleander and for other plant suggestions.
We will be in touch.
Best regards,
Karyna

HI Everyone,
As Philipe said we did have a safe flight back, regarding the planter pictured it
looked that those oleander have been burned by something... Could be salt but I
will much more think about some sort of chemical product... In that case washing
them with freshwater will then help them to get back to heath. however, the
product could have already penetrated roots system or leaves system and in that
case it is too late to save them. In order to get something more colorful it could be
interesting to play with leaves texture. Indeed, sometimes it's easier to use colorful
bushes ( looks picture attached) although there might be some other species that
could work in that bed listed below:
Costus speciosus
Cordilvne fructicosa
Gardenia tahisensis
I hope it helps you for now, but I'll keep this area in mind and think about it precisely.

Hello Philippe,
This is John Christensen from Little Saint James
Island. We met yesterday. I hope you had a safe
flight back.
I do not have Kevin's direct email. Jeffrey
wanted to ask him if he had any suggestions for
how to make the oleander by the waterfall
bloom better.
He also wanted the see if Kevin could
recommend a way to plant the "Basket". The
area Jeffrey told you he wanted to look like a
basket full of flowers on LS1 near the boat dock.
I will send you a photo tomorrow. Now is too
dark to photograph
Thank you
John
