To: From: G. Max Sent Sat 1/1/4501 5:00:00 AM Thought I would give you an update re the Stanhope. Went and met w/the General Mgr and with the decorator lady from Phily. I was v nice v 'non' and just asked some innocuous questions so that I could have a sense. I met with a designer/lifestyle guru event planer and everything else you can imagine who I think has good design and concept ideas for the hotel. I alos have one other person in mind whom I meeting next week. Spoke to Nick who sd that 27 May is when the person from Phily is making her presentation and he thought that maybe if I had anyone else for him to meet and make a presentation it should all happen at the same time. I sd a tentative yes. (I need to make sure that it is enough time to put something together that is worth his while looking at, and I need to be sure that I have enough time before then so that I can work with those people ) . I figure at least this way, worst case scenario, is that Nick gets the benefit of other peoples design ideas, and can assimilate some of the best in a greater scheme if he doesn't go for the whole plan or the people I bring in.
